by Naama Bloom Founder of HELLOFLO
This amazing book by Naama Bloom, does a fantastic job at explaining and reassuring girls at just the right level of detail in a completely honest and funny way. As well as periods, it also covers body and mood changes and there is also a chapter on friendships. What makes it so relatable, is the inclusion of quotes and concerns that have been raised by other girls and lots of answers to questions that you may be afraid or embarrassed to ask (and probably some questions you didn't even think of asking!) Also, just to warn you, it doesn't hold back from talking about any messy business, which I think is why we liked it. We all learnt something new!

by Dr Ranj
One for the boys! We do love Dr Ranj, and I couldn't think of anyone better to support and guide boys through these tricky years than the nation's favourite doctor. (I can still remember the theme tune to Get Well Soon!)
Boys also go through many changes when approaching and during puberty, some are similar to girls, such as emotional changes and mood swings.Their bodies are also changing, and this is all a natural part of growing up. The book covers body hair and looking after your skin, to forming good friendships and taking care of your mental health to help boys grow confident and become the best version of themselves!
